After spending a lazy Saturday morning with this gorgeous family, I had so much energy! It was wonderful seeing how much mom and dad were in love with each other. And their little boy was drowned in hugs and kisses too (a few were even from me!)

When I was in college I wrote in my journal “One Day…I will move to Austin, TX.” I also predicted I would replace Stevie Nicks in Fleetwood Mac, learn how to sew my own clothes, and plant my own garden. Well, at least I got one right!

Because of the drought here in Texas, the pumpkin crop is half of what it used to be. So we were worried that the pumpkin patches around town might be bare. But we found a local church that had a rolling hill of gourds. Many thanks to our Methodist friends!
